Diet and Ailments: The clandestine entente

60 years and beyond is, most of the times, the harbinger of many such ailments as high blood pressure, diabetes and cancer. While we tend to glorify such misfortunes as the necessary part of aging, we don’t do the same to a food habit that’s finely engineered to the needs of the body. The men who do are blamed as girlies; the women, picky and none prefer being called names. Scotch and hamburgers are the ideal dinner (to the ego), so is nicotine for breakfast and for nutrition, it’s an overload of pharmaceuticals. It’s the toxin diet that most of us are used to. (more…)
